Tivonia C.

Office Administrator

Born and raised in Virginia, Tivonia found her passion for animals that eventually led her to North Carolina to pursue her education and career. She graduated from North Carolina A&T with a B.S. in Animal Science, and later earned a Master’s in Management. She began her journey in veterinary medicine in 2018 and transitioned to animal welfare at the Guilford County Animal Shelter before officially joining the Center Veterinary Hospital team as Office Administrator in March 2025.

Tivonia is Fear Free Certified and a Certified Rabies Vaccinator, which helps her combine compassionate care with excellent client service. Tivonia is dedicated to making every client’s experience smooth, welcoming, and full of care. With a strong background in both animal science and leadership, she is excited to help grow and strengthen the hospital’s commitment to exceptional veterinary service.

At home, her life is full of furry companionship — filled with 3 amazing dogs along with 2 goofy male bunnies. During her free time, Tivonia enjoys traveling, solving puzzles, and playing pickleball. Most of all, she loves spending quality time with her fiancé and their beloved pets. If you ask her, there’s no better combination than sunshine, furry friends, and a big pitcher of lemonade!

Billie S.

Senior Veterinary Receptionist

From the moment you step through our door, you will be greeted with a smile and southern charm by our receptionist, Billie Singleton. She received her Associate Degree in Health Information Technology in 1996. She began her career in veterinary medicine in 2008 at Center Veterinary Hospital. Billie worked with the previous practice owner and stayed on when Dr. Gerard bought the practice in 2019. Billie loves to give out treats and watch all the fur babies grow (she will be sending treats for “the road” as well). She enjoys spending time with her two adult children and her grandson, Gavin, who also happens to be Billie’s best friend. Billie values family time and still travels to South Carolina often to visit, which gives her time to enjoy reading a delightful book.

Callie M.

Administrative Office Assistant, Lead Veterinary Assistant

Callie is a North Carolina native and has been working with animals since 2014. In 2018, she began her career in veterinary medicine when she received a Veterinary Assistant certification in Charlotte, NC. She was previously an assistant to Dr. Gerard at a Charlotte practice and decided to continue in this amazing field by joining the Center Veterinary Hospital team in December of 2021. Her ultimate professional goal is to become a Registered Veterinary Technician with a special interest in ultrasonography. Callie is also certified in Pet CPR and Laser Therapy.

Callie is no stranger to alternative animal species. She grew up surrounded by rabbits, turkeys, and chickens. She once had a colony of 27 cats, 3 hermit crabs, and 7 Chihuahuas! Big or small, Callie is a friend to all animal kinds. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, online gaming, and spending time with her daughter, or fur babies. Destiny H.

Lead Veterinary Assistant

Destiny grew up right here in High Point, North Carolina. She fulfilled her lifelong dream of working in veterinary medicine in 2018 as a Veterinary Assistant and has never looked back. She continued fulfilling that dream by joining the Center Veterinary Hospital team in July of 2022. Her love for animals does not discriminate. Destiny’s passion for animals knows no boundaries, having shared her home with not only cats and dogs, but also rodents, reptiles, insects, amphibians, marsupials, and arachnids. Destiny has a special place in her heart for Pitbulls and rescue dogs due to having the pleasure of owning (in her opinion) the two BEST rescue pit bulls ever! When she is not at work, you can find Destiny in the great outdoors on an adventure with her husband, Josh, and their dog, or curled up with her cat and reading a good book.

Hailey E.

Veterinary Team Assistant, Kennel Technician

Originally from Gorham, Maine, Hailey brought a warm heart, a sharp mind, and a global passion for animal care to Center Veterinary Hospital in January 2025. She is currently a senior at High Point University, majoring in Biology, with her sights set on attending veterinary school after graduation.

Hailey’s love for animals has been a guiding force throughout her life. Her experience is already impressively diverse — from volunteering at three different animal shelters to working at a doggy daycare and interning at several veterinary hospitals. Each opportunity has strengthened her commitment to animal welfare and deepened her understanding of patient care. Beyond her local efforts, Hailey also travels to Costa Rica each summer with VIDA, a nonprofit dedicated to reducing animal overpopulation through spay and neuter clinics. These international experiences have given her a meaningful perspective on veterinary medicine and inspired her to make a difference on a global scale.

At the hospital, Hailey is known for her dedication, modesty, and willingness to lend a hand wherever it’s needed. Whether assisting with patients or helping the team behind the scenes, she approaches every task with heart and a desire to learn. We’re grateful that Hailey chose Center Veterinary Hospital to be a part of her journey toward becoming a veterinarian.

Nick S.

Kennel Technician, Veterinary Team Assistant

Born and raised in Greensboro, Nick brings both compassion and energy to our team here at Center Veterinary Hospital. With a lifelong love for animals, Nick knew early on that working in the veterinary field was the perfect fit. Growing up he always had a dog in the home, and he even had a bunny named Chester.

After graduating from community college, he jumped right into animal care — gaining experience at several veterinary clinics and the Guilford County Animal Shelter. Nick joined the Center family in April 2025 with a mission: to keep learning, keep growing, and one day become an experienced Veterinary Assistant. Whether he’s supporting the team behind the scenes or spending time one-on-one with patients, Nick is all about creating a safe, clean, and positive space for every pet. His upbeat personality and “always smiling” attitude make him a natural at putting pets — and their people — at ease.

When he’s off the clock, you’ll find him outside hiking with his dog, watching a game, or playing sports with friends. No matter where he is, Nick brings his trademark enthusiasm and care to everything he does. We're lucky to have him on our team!

Morgan R.

Morgan is our talented and animal-obsessed pet stylist who joined the Center Veterinary family in February 2025. With a background that started in bathing and blossomed into full-time grooming, Morgan has been pampering pets for over two years now and brings heart, skill, and a whole lot of fluff-loving energy to every appointment.

Whether it’s a gentle giant, a tiny diva, or something gloriously in-between, Morgan treats every pet like one of her own (and let’s just say… her own fur-family is big enough to fill a basketball team!). She has a true passion for animals of all kinds and believes in making every grooming visit a safe, happy, and tail-wagging experience. Morgan is a big fan of feedback — she’s always happy to make adjustments upon request and welcomes kind critiques with an open mind and a can-do attitude.

Outside the salon, she’s an adventurous spirit with a soft spot for spooky season, natural swimming holes, and immersive video games. If it involves creativity, curiosity, or costumes — she’s probably into it. We’re thrilled to have her on the team, and she can’t wait to meet your furry family members soon!
