Billie S., Senior Veterinary Receptionist, Administrative Office Assistant
From the moment you step through our door, you will be greeted with a smile and southern charm by our receptionist, Billie Singleton. She received her Associate Degree in Health Information Technology in 1996. She began her career in veterinary medicine in 2008 at Center Veterinary Hospital. Billie worked with the previous practice owner and stayed on when Dr. Gerard bought the practice in 2019. Billie loves to give out treats and watch all the fur babies grow (she will be sending treats for “the road” as well). She enjoys spending time with her two adult children and her grandson, Gavin, who also happens to be Billie’s best friend. Billie values family time and still travels to South Carolina often to visit, which gives her time to enjoy reading a delightful book.

Callie M., Senior Veterinary Assistant, Administrative Office Assistant
Callie is a North Carolina native and has been working with animals since 2014. In 2018, she began her career in veterinary medicine when she received a Veterinary Assistant certification in Charlotte, NC. She was previously an assistant to Dr. Gerard at a Charlotte practice and decided to continue in this amazing field by joining the Center Veterinary Hospital team in December of 2021. Her ultimate professional goal is to become a Registered Veterinary Technician with a special interest in ultrasonography. Callie is also certified in Pet CPR and Laser Therapy.
Callie is no stranger to alternative animal species. She grew up surrounded by rabbits, turkeys, and chickens. She once had a colony of 27 cats, 3 hermit crabs, and 7 Chihuahuas! Big or small, Callie is a friend to all animal kinds. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, online gaming, and spending time with her daughter, or fur babies. Destiny H., Lead Veterinary Assistant, Kennel Attendant
Destiny grew up right here in High Point, North Carolina. She fulfilled her lifelong dream of working in veterinary medicine in 2018 as a Veterinary Assistant and has never looked back. She continued fulfilling that dream by joining the Center Veterinary Hospital team in July of 2022. Her love for animals does not discriminate. Destiny’s passion for animals knows no bounds, having shared her home with not only cats and dogs, but also rodents, reptiles, insects, amphibians, marsupials, and arachnids. Destiny has a special place in her heart for Pitbulls and rescue dogs due to having the pleasure of owning (in her opinion) the two BEST rescue pit bulls ever! When she is not at work, you can find Destiny in the great outdoors on an adventure with her husband, Josh, and their dog, or curled up with her cat and reading a good book.
